MOPS

This year, the church has chartered a Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) group.  MOPS Meetings are scheduled every 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 09:00-11:30 AM at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1756 Michigan Avenue.  The group has grown to over 20 moms and 30 children. 
MOPS International is a respected international outreach ministry that strives to meet the needs of every mom with children from birth through kindergarten. Women can come to MOPS meetings just as they are to build friendships, be encouraged and gain practical parenting strategies through teaching, guest speakers, discussion and fellowship…all while their children from infants through kindergarten are lovingly cared for in the MOPPETS program.

“Advice from the Doctor” led by pediatrician, Dr. Trew Stransky
“Intimacy” led by Pediatric Nurse, Wanda Mango
“Depression” speaker to be determined
“Forgiveness” speaker to be determined
“It’s My Body” Pamper Day speaker to be determined
“Exercise Tips for Moms” speaker to be determined
